MEMBERS:
The
Missouri Women's Golf Association is open to any woman, fourteen
years (14) of age or older, wishing to promote amateur golf in
the state of Missouri or Johnson County, Kansas. If you are not
sure of your membership status, check the list by clicking on the Members link displayed at the bottom of this page.
SENIORS:
A SENIOR member is any woman who has reached
the age of fifty (50).
Women entering the MWGA Senior Championship must have reached the age of fifty (50) on or before the first
day of competition in the Senior Championship.
JUNIORS:
A JUNIOR member is any girl fourteen (14)
years of age up to seventeen (17) years of age, including eighteen
(18) year old graduating seniors, up to September 1, following
their senior year in high school.
Junior girls playing in the MWGA JUNIOR
CHAMPIONSHIP need not join the MWGA
to play in the Junior Championship.
Junior Age Limit for the Junior
Championship:
All girls through seventeen (17) years of age. Also
eligible, eighteen (18) year old high school graduating senior
girls in the summer, up to September 1, following their senior
year in high school.
CLUBS:
Any CLUB in the state of Missouri or Johnson
County, Kansas, may be admitted for membership. Classifications
of clubs shall be private, public, semi-private/public, resort,
military, 9 hole, 18 hole and golf leagues. Member clubs can be
displayed by clicking the Club Members link displayed at the bottom of this page.
COURSE RATINGS:
Course Rating for women is a service that our organization performs for both member and non-member courses in the state of Missouri and Johnson County, Kansas. If your course needs to be rated for women, we are the association to call.
